Rogaland – the rock climbing county
With several hundreds of climbing routes of all disciplines located here in Rogaland, the decision of what to climb today may be a hard choice. The climbing club BRV will guide you trough the maze of climbing options.
In addition to selling the climbing guide ‘Klatring i Rogaland’ (see below for ordering), our web page offers continuous update on new routes, especially with emphasis on new bouldering problems.
BRV has since the initiation, in essence focused on promoting and advancing rock climbing in Rogaland. We do this by being the social rallying point for our climbing members, and to act as a resource for maintenance of crags and walls and the development of new crags, walls and bouldering fields. Some 130 members are active in BRV. New members are welcome, as long as you like the vertical world, be it on a big wall, on the sports crag or on a boulder. A membership in BRV is an excellent way to meet other climbers, and not the least: you support our effort in promoting and developing the sport here in Rogaland.
Feel free to contact BRV for information regarding climbing in Rogaland.
Climbing guide For ordering the guide outside Scandinavia: Please use the Swiss shop Piz Buch und Berg. You will find the book under the Scandinavian section. For ordering in Scandinavia click here.
